Careful with that 112. The RV100 manual mentioned something like 240 watt maximum output on the dirty channel. I was always worried about running it with my 212. Using those guide lines I wouldn't doubt it if the RV50 can easily get over 100 watts at higher volumes. That being said, the manual has nothing about "peak" wattage.

Have fun :D

The RV in the pic us, RV50. The manual for the RV50. MkI stated peaks at .90W. The RV100 with KT88 can put out140w clean , so 240 watt peak sounds about right in that configuration.

Oh, and very cute - if lethal - looking rig! I regularly practice at home with mine too, it sounds great at low volumes!!!!

Don't crank it up too loud and you should be fine.

As the volume/gain goes up, so does the wattage (AFAIK anyway). This is why it is typically recommended that your speakers have double the handling of your amps wattage.

Nice one!

I have the same setup at home sometimes, when I bring my RV50 home for recording or practice. We´ve actually recorded the majority of the guitar tracks on our upcoming album with that setup :) Sounds really nice.

The Rockerverb 50 running two EL34's cant put out more than 50 watts. Its fine. Its no different than the 1x12 combo.

Well yes I know peak is bandied around as much as Class A however saying it can't put out more than 50w isn't entirely accurate. Can it pump out a sustained 90w, hell no.

Can it go above 50 watts, sure.

Did I run out of caring about my own post half way through it, you better believe it :P
