Beauty. ......but 2 x 112s sounds even sweeter!
Re: ...suspected GAS issues....
Careful with that 112. The RV100 manual mentioned something like 240 watt maximum output on the dirty channel. I was always worried about running it with my 212. Using those guide lines I wouldn't doubt it if the RV50 can easily get over 100 watts at higher volumes. That being said, the manual has nothing about "peak" wattage.

The RV in the pic us, RV50. The manual for the RV50. MkI stated peaks at .90W. The RV100 with KT88 can put out140w clean , so 240 watt peak sounds about right in that configuration.Boy_Narf wrote:Careful with that 112. Oh, and very cute - if lethal - looking rig! I regularly practice at home with mine too, it sounds great at low volumes!!!!

it so does...now would someone like to fill me in on exactly what "be careful" and all that technical mumbo jumbo means?

Re: ...suspected GAS issues....
Don't crank it up too loud and you should be fine.
As the volume/gain goes up, so does the wattage (AFAIK anyway). This is why it is typically recommended that your speakers have double the handling of your amps wattage.

Nice one!
I have the same setup at home sometimes, when I bring my RV50 home for recording or practice. We´ve actually recorded the majority of the guitar tracks on our upcoming album with that setup Sounds really nice.

Re: ...suspected GAS issues....
The Rockerverb 50 running two EL34's cant put out more than 50 watts. Its fine. Its no different than the 1x12 combo.

Re: ...suspected GAS issues....
Well yes I know peak is bandied around as much as Class A however saying it can't put out more than 50w isn't entirely accurate. Can it pump out a sustained 90w, hell no.Jondog wrote:Thats some nice marketingOU818 wrote:50w clean (RMS) / 90w peak.Jondog wrote:The Rockerverb 50 running two EL34's cant put out more than 50 watts. Can it go above 50 watts, sure.
