Heck of a girlfriend you have there! Are the pictures going to be of her or the amps?

Well technically if she's you're wife and not girlfriend you're not dissing her, right? Maybe past-her, but not current-her.

Yeah, that is a great gift from a girl who actually seems to listen to you when you talk about guitar gear!

Lovely setup you have there, that AD140 looks niiiiiice!! Welcome!

Is that guitar hanging in the background what you use? Is that a vintage Jaguar?

Welcome to the forum!

Great GF you got there... I hope you're listening when she says 'that one's nice' about jewelry...

And what is the story on that guitar hanging in the background?

Thanks everyone. Unfortunately the guitar hanging on the wall is not a vintage Jaguar. (I wish). Instead it is a kit guitar i purchased online. They send you the body, neck, and the electronics. I built it myself and it doesnt sound half bad for having generic pickups. My main guitar that I use is a Schecter Tempest with Seymour Duncan Nazgul and Sentient humbuckers.

As for the CR120H. Believe it or not, for a solid state amp it is pretty spot on. Along with my AD140, I own a Peavey Duel 212 that uses 4 6l6's and 4 12ax7's(I pulled the amp from the combo and mounted in a head cab), and compared to both of those the CR120h is not far behind. At lower bedroom levels they can all sound pretty much the same. But when you start cranking, cranking up the volume you can tell the CR120 apart. Although not bad in my opinion, the CR120 is more sharp and crisp. Super warm tones arent 100% there, but it has a great sound. Ive had a bunch of other solid states before but the CR120 is definately the best and i wouldnt hesitate to do any shows with it.
Im more of a super loud clean channel and run pedals through it, but cranking up the gain on the CR120 is pretty magical and where it beats the other solid states. nice hard crunch with awesome control.
I honestly would give the CR120H 8/10 because its an awesome amp but it doesnt have enough warmth up in the higher volumes. Kinda gets thin.

And my g/f is pretty good to me, I try to give her what she wants too, like paying 50k more than what I was expecting to pay for a house and her dream Mini Cooper S. She knows music is a big part of my life so she tries to keep me happy and content (which is very hard to do) :D
