Hi all.
Is there a guitar pick out there which has two guages in one pick?
For my acoustic playing I lve the sound of my 0.46mm pick but it doesn't pick individual notes well like a thicker guage pick. Is there one available anybody has seen which effectively 2 in 1?
I've got a shark fin pick which has a jagged edge but its not really the same.
Any help sourcing would be great
Regards

guitar pick 2 thickness ?

That's an easy DIY project. Grind a part of a pick with some files & sandpaper.

Yeah, I'd think if you could get used to the big triangle picks you could get the thicker gauge and file a side down. Also, there was a pick with kind of a scalloped center with the idea that if you wanted a lighter gauge feel you held the pick a little closer to the back and "choked up" on the pick when you need a thicker feel. Never tried one though. I just carry two picks.Hubaxe wrote:That's an easy DIY project. Grind a part of a pick with some files & sandpaper.

I bought a variety pack a while ago. Liked some of them quite a bit.
