ORANGE MATAMP
Hi there, I'm mike from Holland.
I wonder if there's anyone who can help me to see how much the value is.
I have 2 MATAMP ORANGE 4x KT88 amps.
Some orange amps with plexi front.
some Orange matamp cabs
an orange PA amplifier
and (never seen an other one) an Orange Reverb unit (not working)
best regards,
Mike.

Sorry you lost your job. You do know there's no buying or selling on the forum, correct? Why don't you look at the catalogs in the serial number section and figure out exactly what you have and post a list.michelot wrote:Hi there, I'm mike from Holland.

Your post is so close to an ad that I need to get some feedback right away. Usually, I have to delete a post like this...
Re: ORANGE MATAMP
Oh sorry, you can remove my post.
I'll try to find out another way to see what my colletion could be sold for.
I had hoped this side could have helped me.
again sorry.
best regards,
mike.

Re: ORANGE MATAMP
Mike-
My advice is to try to find some similar auctions on ebay and get an idea of the value. You can search ended auctions, too. I have an idea what they may be worth here in the US but not where you are.
My suggestion is to make a list of exactly what you have and we can give you an idea of value... there were several PA amps - makes a difference which model which is why I'm saying look at the catalogs from the 70's.
The broken reverb unit is fairly rare and very cool but I have no idea what it would be worth. To the right person, maybe a lot. I'd list it on ebay in the condition it's in and see what you get. Set a reserve but I wouldn't be surprised if it went for a bit!

Re: ORANGE MATAMP
Wow. What a gorgeous amp. Tolex needs a little cleaning but it's an OR200 and earlier than Jimmy Page's OR200. Basically, I've seen prices go from £1200 - $5000 for these. I would go for top dollar and see what happens...

Sorry you lost your job.
Aye, nice looking amp, and you have a couple more too? The classified ads here in Holland are going to be glowing vintage Orange!
(Not looking myself BTW)
Andy.
