Looks damn nice! And high (or tall, maybe)... Are you switching amp depending on mood?

Tall yes. I have a hate/hate relationship with my RV100 these days. It has been banished to the closet and will be used as a bass amp once I pick up a 1X15 cab. I use the Rocker 30 all the time unless I'm jamming at night and need really low volume (then I switch to the TT).

So you think your Rocker sounds better... What is it that you don't like about the RV?

Here we go again :)

Muddy, lacking note definition and clarity. There is a strong emphasis in the low-mid frequencies that turns the tone into pure mud. I have played bass amps that don't put out this much bass! It could also be the nature of 30 watts vs 100 watts. 30 watts = smaller transformers, less low end produced, which means cleaner more defined tone. IMO leave the bass frequencies to the bass player. I have been trying to sell this RV100 for the past 3 years but the offers I get are laughable to say the least. I wasn't until a few weeks ago when I had the brilliant idea to run it through a bass cab. Too much bass for guitar? well it should work great for bass!

It will always sound better as a full stack IMO. Not louder, Just better. Any disagreers? Unless speakers are high wattage maybe... stack that stuff up I suggest.

Ok, thanks for all your feedback and suggestions, boys! I think I'll go for a full stack. And maybe a little OR15 on the top... :)

Ordered a second PPC412 today. Straight cab. Never liked the angled ones. Looking forward to have a fullstack for the first time in my life... :D

Badass. An OR100 full stack in black with straight cabs is probably the meanest looking Orange rig you can get.

another advantage of the full stack is having the top two speakers at ear level.

Thanks! :D Don't need to save money for the back surgery though... For minor gigs I'll use the Rocker.

Yeah, that's a major advantage. Don't need an angled cab with two straights in the setup...

That would be awesome! An A/B/Y-pedal and you're in gear heaven... :D
