If they have forgotten the trem bar, there's only one solution:

Rout the body and fit an aftermarket floyket floydrose. No need to thank me. :P

Very nice!

Nice. Glad to hear it plays as well as it looks! 8)

Not sure if I'd fit a Floyd Rose - never looks quite right to me with Daphne Blue. Just give GC a gentle subtle kick in the bricks until they cough up that trem arm.

Andy.

Thanks guys!

Yeah, I called them. I guess they're looking for it. Whatever.

I took it in for a setup and a new nut. The nut was pretty bad. Picking it up Friday.

Great find! My favorite body shape by far. I have 2 cyclone reissues and love them. Congrats and enjoy!

I would think it's normal, because Mustangs didn't come with a mute, those were Jaguars. Although maybe you mean the bridge cover.

You are correct. I thought it was a mute but it's just a bridge cover.

Funny thing, I actually had a dream about buying a Mustang or Jagstang about 3 nights ago. In silver to be precise though, sort of like it had a worn metal body.

And then this thread shows up.

Dude, Killer find! I love those old fenders. I'll bet it plays and sounds great, probably so comfortable in your hands.

Yeah, the guitar is very comfy to play. It has a great fat neck profile and it's very comfortable in my hands. I like the short scale on the guitar. I usually prefer the Gibson scale to the larger Fender scale on Strats, Teles, etc. so this is a good Fender for me to own.

Whatever happened to your jazzmaster craving? I seem to recall you wanting one pretty hard for a while there, although I haven't been around much lately. They have that long scale, did you not like it?

Thats a fantastic looking Mustang and you've got me gassing for one!

I used to play Tele's as my main squeeze but bought a Jag during a moment of weakness and I've not picked up the either of my Telecasters since!

Fender offsets are lush. 8)
