I think he tryed to demonstrate the guitar but i think the TT just sounds killer in this video.
I also like the PU combination a lot, that neck pickup has some clarity!

Nice to hear some medium-gain stuff rather than just hi-gain and clean.
Also nice to hear lots of chords struck rather than just twiddly solos.
