My setup has now been finalised as:

TC Electronic G System

2 x Boss FV500H expression pedals (1 global volume, 1 whammy/wah/mod etc)

G System Loops:

1. Pro Co White Face Rat Reissue
2. Jam Pedals Rattler
3. Mojo Hand FX Iron BeLL #001
4. Paul Cochrane Timmy

The G System runs directly into the Normal Input of my Hiwatt DR103 but I am considering grabbing a Y-Cable to run into the Bright and Normal (kind of false stereo).

That's about all I need to get every sound I could probably imagine.
How do you like the Iron Bell? Very tempting but I don't want just another muff clone. Was trying to decide between the Iron Bell or the Musket Fuzz.
I love the Iron Bell. I have never gotten along with Muffs or their direct variants however the Iron Bell really seems to smooth out all the high fizz that I found inherent in a lot of muffs, making it perfect for lead tone or big thick chords.

TC electronic polyphonic tuner

Just a Dunlop Zakk wylde wah through the front not used conventionally I like to find sweet spots for gary moore type lead breaks also modding with a true bypass switch someday
Plan on getting a CAE wah for the wacka wacka type stuff haha

Through the fx loop not in order

Moen pretty dolly analogue delay - used for mainly lead tones it has a nice smoothness to it and a good transparency.

Moen UL-PH analogue phase - used in fx loop to get over the top phasing for one song also fun to experiment with.

Moen Holy choir analogue chorus - used to beef up dirty rythm and lead tones.

Boss DD7 - set to modulation only used for clean I like the devin townsend project vibe I get from it.

ISP decimator - only use it for certain songs that needs that dead space.

CAE clean boost - for solos.

All fx loop pedals running through a Moen GEC 9 pedal changer. I suck at tap dancing.

I prefer my Rockerverb 50 mkii with nothing running through it which I do for home practice occasionally and recording dry tracks.
But the effects blends in well with my band and in live situations so I'm happy with my setup thus far minus the wah changes.

With my R30, I use a Keeley-modded Sparkle Drive for my stage 1 boost/od, then I'll kick on a Keeley SD-1 and an ISP gate for stage 2. For mods I have a boss CE-2 and a Fulltone Dejavibe, and lastly a boss DD-6 delay, which may get replaced by a MXR carbon copy.

I would say that the sparkle drive and the déjà vibe are the only two irreplaceable pieces on my board at the moment.

My main pedalboard goes like this:

1 Korg DT 10 - tuner

2 Crybaby

3 MI Audio Blues Pro - I use it as boost for solos on the gain channel and to have little crunch on the clean channel

4 Digitech Whammy - Producer of weird noice ;) I tend to have it on the + 2 oct or +1/-1 oct modes

5 EHX Smallstone - My all-time favourite phaser , which I use on breaks and some lead parts. Actually, I leave it on during one entire song in particular , that we play in the band!

6 Boss NS-2 - It does a descent job of keeping the hum and feedback down. I'm planning on getting a ICP gate soon, though.

7 EHX Stereo Electric Mistress - I kick this little fellow on quite often, especially to give clean guitar parts a bit of an "airy" feeling ;)

8 Line 6 Verbzilla - I have this pedal in front of the amp, creating some nice ambience on clean sounds and som really out of controlled sounds when played with amps distortion.

9 Line 6 DL4 - This one is in the loop of the amp (TH 30 head) and one of my best friends on the board. Three presets and tap-tempo - that's sufficient for me :)

/J

I've been hearing a lot of good things about MOEN lately. Obviously you like them enough to use them but how do they measure up overall compared to others (quality, sound)?

my most useful pedal is my stereo out analog delay. i biamp with it and fatten the sound with a slight bit of delay between amps. its a whole new world with two amps and the milli-second between them. but, you guys know that. live, it really adds depth to the guitar.

I bought these pedals in Feb last year so I've had a good amount of playing time with them. I honestly thought like most equipment I buy I would want something different within 6 months like practically all my gear. Recently I've started to notice im sticking with certain gear and haven't looked back.

So in saying that I'm really enjoy my moen pedals they haven't lost that tone I liked from the start. I have tried out digital delays to boutique chorus pedals which do sound amazing for what they do but for my personal taste which I prefer these pedals.

Maybe one day that might change.

Vox V847 wah- modded for true bypass, use it for certain leads and the rare funky choppin wah rythms
Boss SD-1-I run my amp at a light crunch and slam it w/ the SD-1 for OD most of my rock leads have SD-1 on them.
Digitech X series delay-for Jimmy page type echo on certian leads especially minor key bluesy stuff
Korg Pitchblack Tuner-for those songs that require me to be in tune

I also have been lusting for a fuzz latly........we'll see.
Used to use a vintage 80s Ibanez chorus for adding sparkly chorus to clean arpeggiated chords, but no real use for it now with what I'm playing latley.

Finally got around to taking a quick snap of my G System set up.

    Image

Does everything I could think of sound wise, only problem is that once the flight case lid is on, it weighs slightly more than my Hiwatt DR103 head.
