I've used both, and for what it's worth I prefer analog.
I use the Carbon Copy, and it just always sounds good. I can't make it sound bad (excluding oscillations). My amp and guitars are super bright, so the darkness is not overwhelming in the slightest.
Also, I prefer analog reverb as well (since this was mentioned earlier). I've used both sorts, I've owned a few different grails, but springs always win out in the end for me. I've had outboard tanks, and onboard tanks, and in my opinion for my styles of music, there is nothing better. I need another outboard tank for routing signals while recording vocals/etc, I really miss having that sound easily available.
Do you prefer you delay Analog or Digital? And why?

If ya want warm, 2001 space odysey delay grab analog.
If ya want clean, laboratory delay grab digital one.
I had Roland Space Echo and its best delay evar made in my opinion.
Now I have Boss RE20 its digital, but it had that thing, that vintage, tape spirit in it.
Boss DM2 is also a good pedal if ya want analog.
Check Catalinbread Echorec, sound is amazing.
