GAS for 1956 ES125

Post by nlimbaugh » Fri Feb 15, 2013 2:08 am

It just feels so good. The sound you feel in the guitar when playing is like nothing I've ever experienced. I think I need to get it just because the way it struck me. Since I don't really play guitars in shops, I had to ask the luthiers if what I was hearing was as good as I was hearing or what. Anyway if I give them a grand and my LP Special I think I can have it. I bought the LP Special on ebay and I like it but the neck just isn't my fit. As much money as I've put into it I feel a failure for wanting to ditch it.

Great guitars. One I played was one of the nicest Gibsons I've come across. And for vintage Gibsons these aren't at all expensive to buy. Depending on what your Special is worth you might get it for less than you think.

Single or double P.90?

When your heart and your head tell you it's the right guitar, it's the right guitar. Colour, brand, condition (within reason) no longer matter because you will make better music with this guitar. Sell a kidney/small child and become one with the guitar that has chosen you.

Wonderful guitars. There are not very many others I would choose over this myself, if I had the opportunity to pick one up.
