Harmony Central...what gives?
I hate the "new and improved" Harmony Central. Why cant I see user reviews of gear anymore, is it just my outdated browser, or do you now need to create an account to see the reviews?

That site has gone fubar since the update. My old log on doesn't work anymore.
Mind you, it generally is a dumbed down web site with some very knowledgeable people in amongst overly opinionated ignorants.
And yes, the very helpful user reviews have disappeared.

Re: Harmony Central...what gives?
I too was just looking to get into the user reviews, and the classifieds. I can't seem to see either one of those things. I went through the process to update my account and everything.
I probably spent about 20 minutes messing around with it. I think i'm done.

Re: Harmony Central...what gives?
I was done with HC long ago. The original user reviews were sometimes helpful - if you sorted through the clueless dross from people who wouldn't recognise a fault if an earthquake hit. But when they scrapped those a while back and changed to a new 'improved' list they lost me. Been a waste of time trying to find anything useful there for ages IMO, so no loss.
Now if they brought back the original data base. Nah, too much to hope for...
Andy.

I don't use HC anymore. I find the users on the Orange forum far more pleasant and informative.

HC always seemed like a constant battle between 14 year old pricks and 65 year old "get off my lawn" -typesterminate_user wrote:I don't use HC anymore. I find the users on the Orange forum far more pleasant and informative.
Every simple question turned into a 4 page fight by the end.
I refinish guitars as a hobby, so I stick to the reranch forum. And this one seems like its got respectful users, which is how forums should be.
