I'm wondering if these are specifically voiced to sound best through Orange amps or if they're designed as an "Orange in a box" pedal. I'm hoping for the prior.

I while back, I posted that Orange should make pedals suited to their amps specifically. Could it be?

It would be quite boring if Orange just released another distortion pedals. There is already enough of those on the market, and having one paired with an Orange amp would seem unnecessary.

I guess it all depends on if they made these pedals to go along with Orange amps, or if they made them for people with other amps trying to get the Orange sound.

Yup... now this is more interesting! Would like to see what sort of flavour they are, although a little cautious to see where they're going. There's a lot of good dirt boxes out there, although I wouldn't sniff at a good reasonably priced clean boost.

Maybe it's the mythical Orange Treble Boost pedal.

I suppose it would make more sense for them to design pedals for people who don't have an Orange buy still want that tone. otherwise they'd be saying that Oranges tone isn't all it should be. Or, maybe it can be used to turn a one channel amp into a two but still have that Orange OD tone.

Some ignorant comments there too. Seriously, just because you're loyal to another amplifier does not mean Orange sucks. Marshall sucks! No. No they don't. Sorry.
