We did have some good times  .

Do both of yours weigh the same?

I'm pretty sure my PCC212 was made in the US. I had to wait for it. Given how much they weigh, I can understand why you want to have them made on the continent they will sold in.

With tens of thousands of Tiny Terrors sold (not to mention the rest of the 'tin tops'), I guess the guys who run the company may have a shrewd idea...
From a business standpoint it makes perfect sense and Orange struck while the iron was hot with the lunchbox craze.

However, there are other amps in that price bracket from other manufacturers with more features. Similarly for the price of the PPC112 there are plenty of cabinets from other manufacturers that do what the 112 does for less money, also made in China. Retail prices on the TH30 are crazy for an amp that's been made in China when you can get an American or UK-built amp for the same price elsewhere. The Orange brand comes with a premium pricetag, if you're going to pay that much, why settle for less than their best just for the sake of the name. IMO.

I guess I'm a little slow. What is it?

I think so, but one hangs a little lower than the other.

More seriously, they seem pretty close but I've never compared directly. Maybe I'll weigh them soon (too much stuff stacked on them right this instant), and they are loaded with different speakers at the moment but neither struck me as being lighter when handling them.

I sure hope they haven't started using Cambodian Balsa or something to make the PRC-built cabs. It seems unlikely.

I've just bought a new PPC 112 after Christmas to go with my other PPC 112 which is about 6 years old- although I did go into my local Orange dealer and saw what I was getting

Build quality is very good, colour matches exactly my 6 year old cab and my AD30. Both 112s weigh the same and are sturdy and well made. Absolutely no problems here....

That's interesting because the color between their U.K gear and their PRC gear has always been a couple shades different. I wonder if they changed.
