I am in the market for this amp and just wondering what kind of sound was possible. I play in an indie rock band. Will this amp be able to give me that tone characteristic of indie rock bands. How is the clean channel? Thanks for any help on this.

this amp is perfect for indie rock. brilliant warm, natural, clean tone and sensational overdriven snarl when its cranked. as we all know these are not the most versatile amps but if you're after a good natural rock sound you've got your amp. i don't think there's any competition . . . buy it.

The AD30 is loud enough for small venue gigs and jamming.
It's great amp for jamming purposes, it has no problem at all competing with a drummer.
