New OR50

Do any of you guys have one of these new OR50's? Not the UK built ones (Note from moderator - they are all UK built), the new ones. If so what are your thoughts?

From all accounts from Orange there is no difference between the 40th Anniversary OR50s and the current production aside from the gold piping/handle and plexi front panel. I was under the impression that the current production OR50s were still built in the UK too.

I have a 40th Anni OR50 and love the tone. Very happy with it.

I have a 40th anniversary and I love it. The new ones are exactly the same and I have played a couple of them. The only difference as said above is that there are some cosmetic changes. I think the plexi cover is cool but it doesn't make it sound any better. And I'm 99.9% sure that the new ones are made in the UK. A one channel amp made in china for $1699 just wouldn't sit well with many people I don't think.

I received an OR50 for Christmas, I have not played it thru my two Orange 2x12's only my Marshall cab and only at home. I have not been able to get her loud, but at room volume it is awesome. I like th voicing and character, need more time on it.
