Sadly, though our american friends probably won't know the story, it seems that people were getting away with far too much at the BBC in those days.

I suspect they might just... seeing as the Director General in charge at the BBC at the time when they tried to cover up the Savile saga after his death, so it wouldn't interupt their christmas scheduled tribute programs to him, is about to become the Chief Exec at the New York times :wink:

I cant see it from work, but Im betting its either Monty Python or Faulty Towers...both of which I LOVE. Everyone I show it too just doesn't get it...I dunno, maybe you have to grow up with it, but its f'in hilarious.

its monty python. be sure and watch it when you get home. probably one of the funniest bits ever conceived. graham chapman nails it perfectly as does cleese.

If its MP i've probably seen it, but I'm gonna watch it anyway...can never have enough Monty Python :).
