BASS PLAYERS!!!

so... what ORANGE gear do you bassists use?
the new class A 200w head is a little out of my budget.
i might be able to get a deal on a friend's non-master-volume
120. is this gonna have to be insanely loud to get a full sound?
you can knock these things down to 80w by unscrewing a couple
of tubes, right?
can anybody recommend anything?
