I would think if Duane were to come back, I don't know that he'd want to play with the ABB due to all the band politics. I sure would like to see him play though.
Another would be Rory Gallagher, although I would like to see him in his hayday too.

I'd have to say Buddy Holly and Jimi Hendrix. Both had a lot more in them, I think!

Maybe not bring him back to life (because that is creepy) but I sometimes ponder what kind of music, if any, Kurt Cobain would be making nowadays if he never died in the first place.

Kings of Leon
Oh wait...their stage presence only indicates they're not living.

If you could bring a dead rock star back to life
Jimi Hendrix for the potential he had left in him
Richard Wright cause it killed any dream of having a true Pink Floyd reunion show
Peter Steele because Type O Negative is one of the few bands that I really should have seen live and never got the chance to

Re: If you could bring a dead rock star back to life
I think a few other posts mentioned this but I'll reiterate.
In this hypothetical it's important to consider which musicians were at their peak and (quite possibly) still had their best work ahead of them. If I had to choose just one it'd be Joe Strummer. IMHO Streetcore proves that he had many more great albums in him...

Everyone tells me they're crazy. Well crazy people aren't so f**king boring. So wake me when you're through being cool, cause I'm snoring...
