I would think if Duane were to come back, I don't know that he'd want to play with the ABB due to all the band politics. I sure would like to see him play though.

Another would be Rory Gallagher, although I would like to see him in his hayday too.

I'd have to say Buddy Holly and Jimi Hendrix. Both had a lot more in them, I think!

Maybe not bring him back to life (because that is creepy) but I sometimes ponder what kind of music, if any, Kurt Cobain would be making nowadays if he never died in the first place.

I think a few other posts mentioned this but I'll reiterate.
In this hypothetical it's important to consider which musicians were at their peak and (quite possibly) still had their best work ahead of them. If I had to choose just one it'd be Joe Strummer. IMHO Streetcore proves that he had many more great albums in him...
