Time to Sell the R30

Post by msmith4432 » Thu Jul 26, 2012 3:51 am

Well I am officially selling my rocker 30, I have wanted an or50 for quite a while now and I have been saving for it but if I can sell the r30 then I will have all the money. I have wrestled with selling it thinking I may regret it but the other day I tweaked the tv50 and got it very close to the rocker and the plugged into the mesa boogie electra dyne and it absolutly blew the r30 away and I realized i would not miss it a bit, I know saying that a mesa blew the r30 away is almost blsaphemy on this forum but it is what it is and the mesa kicked its butt. Oh well its on craigslist and if it does not sell its going to the bay... Ill post pics when I get the new OR, I AM STILL FIGURING OUT PHOTOBUCKETT, actually I havent really tried yet but I did start an account.

thanks to everyone who gave me your opinion and advice over the last few weeks.

Your honesty is admirable. So how does the TV50 sound in comparison to the Electra Dyne?

The Tv is definately a little diffrent flavor than the Electra Dyne and I like it very much. It stacks up well in the crunch department, the Electra dyne however has much better cleans. But that does not bother me because the Tv was not really made to have great cleans.

So does the TV50 take the biscuit when comes to dirty tones?

Yeah I would give it that, what tyhe ED does it does very well abd that is have great cleans and a nice classic crunch, however the TV has more versatility in the dirty range. I can do things that the ED cant do. I dont utilize any of the metal type sounds that the TV can produce because im not that type of player but nonetheless they are there and the TV can cover alot of ground and IMO it does it very well.

No shame in selling the R30 to fund a great amp like the OR50.

When you upload pics to photobucket each pic is given a different IMG code underneath.
Its this individual code you need to copy across to the thread you are posting in (copy/paste).

You will only see the code though untill after you hit the submit button.
