Cranked 1 watt amp vs 100 watts... with a master volume?

im in the "15-30W" camp for sure. i have a little 5W supro, and though it is easily loud enough for gigging, i would never gig with it. there is NO bottom end, very little lower midrange either. just sounds empty. at least on a higher wattage amp you can dial some of the bass out. it's pretty hard to add any back in for tonal thickening.
