Yep.. 6 months with just an iPhone.. Lost most of my bookmarks and passwords.. Now for an external HD...I see replies now...

Was thinking about one of those, but I ended up with a Windows 7 PC. Pretty much top line Mac specs, pretty much half the price.

So... PC PC PC PC PC PC PC PC - for me...

Doesn't matter a 'bit' to me as long as the damn thing works right. They are all just glorified abacuses after all!

Still welcome back to the land of big screen foruming. Must seem like Hollywood to you compared to your iPhone. I know my computer does - my previous PC was close on 12 years old, so this is different league stuff!

Love my iPad and my wife is a Mac convert but....

For music I'm really happy with my PC which goes against the grain of so many who swear by their "Macs for Music"

Horses for courses, as long as it works and importantly works well for you, well great stuff.

I found that after getting an iPhone, my posting frequency has actually increased, much to the detriment of my thumbs. Owww!

Yeah but maybe they already did take over and we are all in the Matrix...
Nice of them to give us these fun virtual Macs / PCs / Oranges / Rickenbackers etc to play with though. Too nice almost!

Hopefully not anyway or I may be 'Terminated' any minute, which from my point of view anyway would be a right scunner. (Guid Scots there fer ya!)

Nice Ricky BTW - beautiful in fact! Want to tell us about it, maybe show us the whole thing? I always loved the 4000 series basses (well, nice ones anyhow!) I've never played one of those 'same shape' guitars though.

Congrats on the Mac, OP!

I've been a Mac guy since '99 and I've gone through a number of books and a few desktops too. I just got the ginormous 27" iMac this year but before that I had a MacPro G5 tower, that was awesome. That thing was completely problem free and a serious workhorse for 8 years..... 8 YEARS! That's like someone living to be 163 in human years.

Anyway, programs and websites stopped writing code for the old AMD Mac chip sets about a year or two ago it seems so I had to get something else.

And Andy, I run Windows 7 both on my Macbook Pro at work 9 hours a day and I have Windows 7 on my iMac now. Both the Macs run Windows with faaaaarrrr less crashes than any HP/Dell/Visio that they tried to pawn off on me at work prior.

The best computer is one that works....
