Re: PPC 4X10!!
Sorry, haven't tried one so can't help BUT.....
My local dealer has had several of these 4x10 cabs and I was very tempted but having already got a PPC112 and a Marshall 1930 cab felt I was getting carried away.
However he did tell me that he thought Orange were phasing this line of cab out, if true, get along a try one before it's too late.
NB:
Just checked Orange's website and they're still listing this cab so maybe the guy was misinformed, guess time will tell

Re: PPC 4X10!!
humbucker has a GREAT reputation, if that makes a difference...
I have played one and it was very nice, a little "lighter and brighter" than the 412, but nothing to really rock your world.
at that price I might consider one for home practice as it will fit in the space I have allotted for an amp/cab in my office, where a 412 is just a couple of inches too big.

Re: PPC 4X10!!
the 412 sounded better.
the 410 is a LOT cheaper though.
the 412 sounded better than some OTHER 412s I've played, but it didn't have the big hit in the back I love so much about a 412...

Re: PPC 4X10!!
I own one and use it all the time. I will never own a 4x12 again. I love it. Super tight and crisp. TT, DT or AD30 I think are probably the best matches. I have been a 4x10 fan forever though. Marshall 4x10 cab, Traynor YCV, Tweed Bassman Clone. The eventual dream rig is the 4x10 with an AD30 combo on top. It is very directional though. So if your in a tight spot on stage and its blasting at your knees you wont hear it very well. I currently use it with a TT combo on top. The combo gives me the sound while the 4x10 fills the room.

Re: PPC 4X10!!
I sent Sade's guitar player out on a 170 date world tour with a Dual Terror and a PPC410 cab. It sounded fantastic. Really tight and can get much cleaner than a 412.

Re: PPC 4X10!!
on all the online UK retailers it says it's been discontinued. About a month ago some of the stores dropped the price (I guess to get rid of them) and I got interested then a couple of weeks later they say its been discontinued.
