Just curious guys, would my halfstack sound good with a bass played through it? Would the low frequencies blow my speakers? The head is an OR 120 (pics only) and the cab is an OR 412 (90's era).

I wouldn't try it except for low volumes... really low. The speakers are a "guitar" speaker and not voiced for bass.... A 4 X 15 cab on the other hand or a 2 X 15 cab would probably be good. The bass player in Wilco uses an Orange half-stack of some kind for bass but I don't know what cab it is- it's old though and an old head... Billy

Hey-
If your cab is a 90s cab it should have G12/75s or 70s
(I'm going senile and can't remember which)
I had a 95 and I used it for both bass and guitar.
Check first!
Souded great, but I was aware of the tone at all times;
It never made that tell-tale woof of a speaker going...
It depends on your playing style too.....
The vintage 30s that the new cabs have(4x12) are a lot
willowier and are hard put to handle a bass.
What do I know...
I always figure I can re-cone speaks if they puke....
