out of that list radiohead and coldplay had the WORST starter names haha

radiohead was On a Friday? wtf kind of name is that? hahahaha

coldplay was starfish?

good thing they changed their names

i liked the goo goo dolls first name "The Sex Maggots". they tried to be punk as you'd hear in their early CDs almost sounded like 2 different bands. If they kept with the punk route, the sex maggots is kinda awesome

Turns out I nearly copied the Grateful Dead. My first band was called 'Warlock', like hundreds of others I imagine...

On the Bee Gees, a guitarist I used to gig with (in the 'jamming band' I mentioned in another thread) once played on the same bill as the early Bee Gees. He swore they were a decent enough blues rock band back then (late '60s), so I'm guessing 'The Rattlesnakes' was maybe a reference to the Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac) song 'Rattlesnake Shake'...
