Fantastic awesome awesomeness :D

I don't think we'll ever see the likes again...
For a start you can imagine most current artists being totally lost without their guitar tuners.

Is that Ringo sulking at the back there because he's not getting a chance to sing?

Thanks for posting.
Paul.

Ringo, at least in this vid, gives me hope that I could someday play drums. ;)

Yup - I'm with ya there man. I think that both bands really opened up what could be done, musically speaking. The Beatles did a lot of cool stuff recording-wise once they stopped touring, and the song-writing of Paul and John is just top notch, those guys were superb. Hendrix, I think he just plain surprised a lot of people with those sounds he pulled out of that guitar - and the way he played, it was like the guitar was just another appendage or something; it was just uncanny.

Don't get me wrong, I'm no huge Beatles fan by any means but Hendrix has never interested me at all. I appreciate that loads of people like what he did, it's just I don't.

even though i do get bored with beatles AND hendrix at times, you have to remember what the times were like when they did what they did. obviously if the beatles came out now it probably wouldn't be a big deal like it was. a lot of ppl I know are bored of guitar solos and riffs so hendrix might just be an annoyance today haha

I was in the cafe and hendrix came on and this girl didn't know who it was but just said "man that guitar is ANNOYING" hahaha

someone probably should have slapped her but owell
