Needing a pedal board

Needing a pedal board
I'm wanting to put together a pedal board as I'm sick of setting up and taking down my pedals at every gig. Problem is, I'm clueless about these things.
From just browsing around I've spotted either the Harley Benton PB1000 or the Pedal train 2. I'm needing to fit the following on it:
Front layer:
Expression pedal
Boss TU2
Plutonium Chi Wah Wah
Cornford double foot switch
Jam Red Muck
Toptone DG-2
Volume pedal
Second layer (between the exp and volume):
Ibanez ST-9
Strymon Orbit
Strymon Brigadier
The exp, volume and top 3 pedals run through the effects loop and the bottom four are straight into the amp (except for the footswitch). I'm also thinking of adding a term to the top row later...
For the power supply I was considering the T Rex Chameleon.
For people in the know of pedal boards does what I've looked at sound like it'll cover this? Or am I needing something bigger and more technical?

Not the right pedals in all cases but the size is pretty accurate.
Looks like I need a PT-3.

Re: Needing a pedal board
Just bought a PT3 myself, but haven't populated it yet. However, be ware of placing pedals on the middle row. They may tip over when you stomp them, based by the looks of your pic.
Re: Needing a pedal board
i just made my own board which looked exactly like the pt2 but i couldn't find a case to fit it.
so i just found a good deal on one locally and bought the actual p2 + soft case.
heres an idea of what fit on mine: (taking off the DL4 because i dont really use it anymore)

+1 on the Suhr pedals. They are incredible.OU818 wrote:

I think this website even beats the Warmoth guitar building simulator.

Re: Needing a pedal board
Are you going to be able to reach the pedals in the back row?
Re: Needing a pedal board
You know, that's a good point.bclaire wrote:Are you going to be able to reach the pedals in the back row?
I'm considering killing off the exp pedal that I barely use, getting the PT-2 and fitting everything in on just two rows.

Re: Needing a pedal board
I'm kind of looking for something too. My cheapo flightcase that my homemaded pedal board fits in has pretty much broken. Is there something like the pedal train with a case, but with built in power supply with connectors kind of like the one-spot?
Re: Needing a pedal board
PT-2 with some better thought out real estate.
The grey block is the size of a Morley PVO Volume Pedal.

for the exp, why don't you get something like this? http://this1smyne.com/shop/me-mini-expression-pedal/OU818 wrote:You know, that's a good point.bclaire wrote:Are you going to be able to reach the pedals in the back row?

Re: Needing a pedal board
So I ordered one of these a few minutes ago.

It cost me a little less after shipping than a Pedal Train 2 and Fuel Tank would have cost however I really dig the concept of not having to worry about plugging inat the front of the stage.
Review of Pedal Jeanie Jnr
The only down side is that it doesn't come with a carry case as standard like the PT2 does. I plan on just getting an old luggage carry on brief case or something and layering foam on te underside of the lid.
Also at 23"x11" it is a lot more accomodating than the picture makes it out to be. I drew up a rectangle of that size on my workbench last night and it fit everything pretty well.
I plan on laying velcro in the spaces between the holes as the idea of cable ties doesn't really appeal to me. Here is a pictre of a guy who has gone the velcro path and I think it looks way better.

No built in power supply but I've always liked these.baytamusic wrote:I'm kind of looking for something too. My cheapo flightcase that my homemaded pedal board fits in has pretty much broken. I plan on getting one eventually but I'm still adding/cutting pedals from my board frequently.
