The popular press, after a couple of decades of multi million selling albums and chart topping singles (when the charts still had some meaning).

Next.

Nah, not yet anyway. Madge has a loooong career and has consistantly been at the top whilst reinventing herself several times. If we can look back in 20 years and Gaga has stayed at the top then there might be a contest but for now she's just an copycat newcomer by comparison. Doesn't mean I rate either of them highly on an artistic scale but as pop(ular) queen Madge has the crown.

When I flew to Australia I went on a Cathay Pacific (Hong Kong airline). I don't know how to use chop sticks and the whole friggen flight that was all I got for utensils. Then probably with only a few hours left in the flight I learned you could ask for fork and knife and they had an American menu.

Done well with her singing and all but she looks like somebody set her face on fire and put it out with an ice-pick.

Madonna is has the most sales of any female performer, and she is a pop singer. So, that's enough to name her the queen of pop in my mind, and apparently others.

I'd hardly call them Giants, plus they're bound to be pretty saggy by now.

Madonna is 100% of the Queen of Pop.

Lady Gaga is the Princess of Pop.

Orange endorsers both of their guitarists. We're royalty either way.
