Question for Cat people

Post by Jondog » Sat Feb 04, 2012 4:57 pm

I don't have a cat, don't want one. But I was thinking this today when I was in a pet store. They sell these cat scratching things that almost look like the same material used on Orange cab grills, anyone have a cat trying to scratch on their cab? Personally I chuck the bastard out the 2nd story window.......

If I had a cat that was trying to scratch my grill cloth I would definitely be shopping for a rugged, impenetrable cat cover too.

That's why they invented cat sized trampolines.

Cats should live outside like animals, since they are animals.

i dont have a cat but i have a fiesty little rabbit that loves to chew on patch cords. this is what we use in my basement.

and i assume this doesn't turn into a too serious discussion about cats but no they should definitely not be outside unless you live on some giant farm or something.

I don't allow my cats in the music room.

With their propensity to like to scratch on anything their not allowed to, I'm not taking the risk!!!

My cat is outside, but he'll claw grills and whatever else he feels like in all honesty. You can't will them to do anything. Negative reinforcement is useless. Don't trust a cat to respect your gear. At least that's my experience.

My cat loves to scratch the grillcloth of my Rocker30Combo, that's why I use a cover!!!

This is one of the many reasons why I don't have a cat.

Took the words out of my mouth (or fingers, depending on how you look at it).

i have a cat, but she's pretty tame. the most she'll do is sit on top of the R30. she knows better than to scratch my cabs.

I hate cats............I love animals, I give them a chance, but one scratch or bite I grab them by the back of the neck and throw them! If it pissed on my gear, scratched my gear or even slept on my gear...the neck grab is also in effect. Now my dog, she's the best. Goes everywhere I go, and just sits and listens. NEVER touches my gear.

My cat is afraid even of my Vox DA5. She wouldn't go near it.
