First song that really grabbed me was the Boomtown Rats 'Looking After Number One'.

That was back when Bob Geldof and the guys were (pretty much) a punk outfit. First album was (still is!) great. They went badly downhill after that though, so I got into Rush too. I can still bash out 2112 practially note for note without thinking about it, and lets face it I only got into Orange about 30 years before Geddy bleedin' did!
After that my tastes got 'quite varied'. You should hear some of the s**t I listen to now...

Hard to remember that far back, but I think it might actually be The Final Countdown I remember going jogging as a kid and just listening to that song over and over for inspiration.

i remember a couple of years ago somebody put PJ and duncan on at a party i was at..... man it was funny! grown men jumpin around to ant and dec!! hahaha

CCR....Green River. I still remember being about 4 and dancing around. The vinyl had a blue label in the middle. I still love CCR.
