Very nice...have been tempted a time or by those especially as I've never found a bit of use for a standard Tele neck pickup even on a Custom Shop Nocaster.

How's the neck? For a while there Fender were putting absolute baseball bats on some of the upscale Tele models (a U-shape in their marketing lit).

Nothing like a new axe to bring Joy to the new year! Loving it so far! Over the years, I've picked up regular Teles in the store and really couldn't hear a big difference to the regular strats they were next to. This one had such a distinct tone and feel compared to the regular teles, and sounded like nothing else it was next to (except for the 52 re-issue), had to have it. Can't see my self getting tired of this guitar, all the years I've wanted a tele and couldn't find one different enough from the sounds I was getting from my strat, make this one unique. :D

Pretty awesome looking! I'm not a usual fan of blonde/butterscotch teles but I like the look of that one. It's gotta be the grain. Anyways, seems like a keeper!

The magic of those Tele's bothers the hell out of me! :x

I mean, I put in two different mini humbuckers and 4 different tele bridge pickups in a thinline and it was more problems than not. I would wager those pickups/pots were specifically voiced for each other and cannot be replicated by third party drop-ins. Plus the thinline never even came to the mojo those have. :x

Stupid great Teles.

Oh yeah, nice guitar. Congrats!

Fair enough but is it sleek, chunky, C-shaped, U-shaped, gloss, satin, nitro, poly?
