Hello. Im just getting started as a music store repairman, and one of my projects is a hustler model 125 head that i believe has been modified to make the reverb driver and return tubes into extra gain stages. Is this possible? i need to restore it to original condition as i am having a hard time generating interest in this amp. people come in and love the fact ive got an orange then they hate the sound it makes. unpluging the reverb tank removes the most of the distortion. Has anyone heard of this modification and what it would entail to undo it? im kinda desperate. Thanks

There is a schematic floating around out there someplace for the hustler 2x12 combo. I think the 1x12 hustler is the same without the second channel. That would help you to restore the amp. Let me see if I can find a link....

Oh yeah, it's on Geert Jacobs' site:

...under orange schematics.
