SPEAKER COMPARISON WITH CLIPS - V30, G12T75, Greenback etc

As a lot of people seem to be asking about the differences between speakers currently, I thought I'd share some clips that I downloaded from another forum many moons ago. The original thread is long gone AFAIK.

The test rig is an 18w Marshall which is played clean and dirty through various cabs to demonstrate how speakers/cabs shape the sound. This isn't a totally exhaustive comparison that would also include different amps, settings, guitars etc... but it is definitely a really useful collection for comparing the general differences IMHO.
The cabs/speakers used include an Orange PPC412 with the standard V30s. One of the most interesting differences for me was between the Orange 4x12 and Mesa 4x12 with V30s - you can hear that cab construction does actually make quite a difference to the final tone, even when close micing.
Again, to be clear, I did not record these myself!
