Cab questions

Post by MXRFiend » Sun Nov 20, 2011 6:54 pm

Okay. At my church we have been doing acoustic sets Sunday mornings for awhile and our singer is fed up with it. any time we play electric we get the complaint that it is too loud. Has anyone done anything with isolation cabinets or have any other suggestions? we are trying to avoid possessors.

Turn down the volume. It's that simple.

I used to have more Orange stuff. Now I just have a PPC412 (black), and a Micro Crush.

A decent solid-state amp with a master volume would do the job if you don't insist on using a tube amp. Otherwise, you might want a low-wattage tube amp, an attenuator, or an isolation cab.

Have you considered building your own iso cab? Jesus was a carpenter.

Also, church is a very good place to go if you want to avoid possessors.
