Have you tried the version 3? Ive always liked the Deville, but this newer version is definitely an improvement...probably helps that the store put new tubes in too.

Don't get me wrong, i know it's got excellent cleans and is a good amp. Just one of them things. Got the same problem with mesas, and telecasters to some extent.

I like music made with them, but not much playing them myself - i don't really underdtand it! :lol:
