In general the Oranges will bring out the personality of the guitar plugged into it. I've always thought the Tele's had more personality than the Strats, so that might be why there are so many Tele's going through Oranges. I think the short answer is yes, but expect it to sound like another guitar.

That Squier is beautiful. A Tortoise Shell guard might look even better on it.

As awesome as this guitar is, I was sorta bummed when I found out about it because I just bought a white AVRI.

Still love my guitar though. Maybe ill get one used for a project neck/body refin someday.

Also, I wish this came out when I was 15.

yah i've wanted an AVRI for a while now but just couldn't find a good used price. even the MIJ jazzmasters (specifically the white ones) shot up in price on ebay to insane amounts (basically the price of an almost new AVRI)

Totally. Japenese offsets are getting to be sort of a ripoff. In most cases, for $200 more you can get an AVRI and not have to mod the electronics/trem. There's still good ideas out there and they're great as a modding platform.

Move to the UK and pay good prices on an MIJ/CIJ jazz.

Im glad to see squier have released an offset thats actually true to the original.

Might be for me. :)

Sooo looks like I know where my student loan is going...

Seriously fender could learn a few lessons from squier! First the classic vibe guitars, now this - I hope they keep up the good work!

Watch this space because I WILL have that guitar!

I play a Lee Ranaldo sig Jazzmaster thru a RV50 and love it! I dont know how close the tone comes to a real jazzmaster tho it has "open voiced" humbuckers in it and none of the electronics and is sometimes refered to as a jazzblaster.

The RI WRHBs definitely sound different than vintage spec'd ones, but I have a jazzblastered JM and it still sounds like a jazzmaster, just with another ball or two.
