It's a slow-motion trainwreck but a fascinating one.

One scene of note is the tambourine player (?), remaining in the fold despite the frontman's lunacy, giving his tambourine away to an audience member. At this point hasn't his limited value to the band been eliminated completely? Even Bez out of Happy Mondays made more of a contribution.

I saw BJM recently and he was still there jamming out to every song. They had like ten musicians on stage. It was actually pretty cool. Nothing crazy happened either. Good jams though and they sounded huge.

I still want to see the G.G. Allin documentary "Hated". It's probably pretty gross. It's done by Todd Phillips, who also got tapped to do Phish's "Bittersweet Motel". Apparently they picked him because he was not a fan, but liked "Hated". He then went on to direct movies like "Old School". Forgot about "Some Kind of Monster"- another good one.
mmmmmm drop

I saw Anvil play a few months ago, their live show was about 100x better than the anvil movie

Only if you find lots of male nudity, blood, feces and bananas inserted where they shouldn't be gross!

I watched it, but yeah it's not for everyone...
