I've got a show coming up in 2 weeks...my biggest gig to-date. Highschool football stadium, center field, 20' x 20' stage, laser light show, fireworks, pro sound company & lighting to the tune of 25,000 watts. Expecting a crowd of 5,000+. We are trying to get a videographer.
What's the biggest gig/venue you've ever played? Pics?

...my first gig is probably going to be the biggest for a while (medium-large sized festival).

My band The Dirty Tricks, recently headlined the second stage of a festival, the crowd sized varied throughout the gig, it wasnt helped that Frank Turner went on the main stage 20 mins into our set but we still kept a good crowd! The stage sound was amazing too, as was the front of house.....from what we were told!
Sounds like a great show that you have got coming up!
Good Luck!
Andy

300 maybe. Played a lot of 100-200 throughout the years. 5000 would be nuts.

500. Of course most of them were middle schoolers(I'm just out of middle school) who knew nothing about guitar. I played pretty much every week for 2 school years.

Probably it was for ~2500 people at a outdoor festival, it was fun but you really have to have your sound together or else you can't hear each other. I actually like to play in pubs with a crowd of 50-70 folks, seems like I connect better.

Maybe a couple hundred people down in St. Augustine one night, and Jacksonville, Florida the next night. We opened for our friends in 12 Hour Turn, they were doing reunion pre-Fest 2010 shows and we came down to play. It was us and a few other local friends' bands, and Army of Ponch. Lots of fun! Plus, the Sinclair (Jacksonville) was really cool and had a loft behind the stage for the bands to hang out, it was fun sitting up there for a bit.

I was in marching band. We played BOA nationals in Indy at their dome. There were 12,000 people there.
I know this doesn't count. I just wanted to feel included.
