A rather exciting week ahead for me... my partner is going to be filmed as a contestant for a TV show called Come Dine With Me, where 4 people go to each other's houses on different nights and score each other, with the winner getting a grand. As part of it they'll be filming a little bit of us playing a song or two for one of the 'background story' bits of the show! It's a bit of a cult show here in the UK, the voiceover guy Dave Lamb really rips into the contestants and they kinda deliberately set up contestants who are very different to cause a bit of friction. The programme will air in August, it's going to be a bit of a surreal experience! Originally we were going to play as part of her evening's 'entertainment' for the guests but we decided that might scare the crap out of them :P The filming is gonig to be a bit strange as we'll be in a local venue, but at 4 in the afternoon with no crowd... I just hope it comes across well!

Lol, when you said it was a show where contestants go to eachothers house and 'score' eachother, I thought you meant screw eachother. Looked the show up, get it now!

Excellent dude!

My wife's boss won an episode of come dine with me last year.
If you watch it then you may remember a little Italian calked Luigi who had a flash house and they all went in his jacuzzi! Typical hairdresser!

One lady cheated great before having a restaurant deliver food to the kitchen window!

Congrats Teddy, we have a similar show over here in Canada called Dinner Party Wars, same basic principal as what you are going to be on.

I know a show similar to that is being aired here in holland for quite a while now.
What channel it will be on?
I can only watch BBC 1 and 2....
I'm still on oldfashioned cable, since i don't care much for tv in general.....
But i love to watch top gear every now and then....

Sweet...the wife and I watch Dinner Party Wars (its the Cnadian equivalent) all the time. Good exposure for ya.
