I think they should do an R30TC - like the AD30TC, a 2-channel amp but Rocker 30 voiced, EL34-based and with two dirty channels with independent EQ.

That'd be awesome. I love the dirty channel on my R30 but never use the natural channel.

I voted no because I am greedy and I want my Rocker all to myself.

I don't think the R30 should be reissued so soon after being discontinued. Orange has two other twin-channel 30-watters in the lineup anyways. I'd rather see the Dirty Channel from the Rocker 30 turned into a single-channel Custom Shop OR30 head. Give it a Pics Only front panel and it'll be a winner.

I said no as well. It should become a classic, rare, amp. It is that good, really, and not everyone should be able to own one.

Seriously, orange has enough 30 watt and lower amps. It is time to rev up the custom shop and start putting out some new models with some big power 100 watters and up. Maybe a reissue PTP OR120 Overdrive, complete with footswitchable dual master volume for a lead boost, and maybe voiced with slightly more gain than the originals.

The AD140 leads should be remade as well.

I said no. I loved the concept, but it wasn't popular. A lot of people who where interested in the Rockerverb series (while the Rocker was still out, before the thunder 30), were people who were buying the amps before trying them, thus they wouldn't buy the R30 because the though it wasn't going to be loud enough or because it didn't have a EQ for the natural channel. Honestly, the Rocker is a much much better amp than the Rockerverbs, and I think the older brothers disgrace the Rocker name.

Why shouldn't be introduced? Mistakes were made, but I made the right decision. I want enough time to pass so that it becomes very valuable and I may sell it to pay for medical bills incase I lose my arms.

Also... Wolfe, stop flooding the boards. As Arnold Schwarzenegger would say, "Chill out, dickwad".

+1, I mentioned the OR30 in a different thread but yeah. I'm a supporter of the OR30. Mostly I just want to type the abbreviation OR30 enough so that it gets noticed by Orange and they make it happen. OR30

They might rather call it an OD30 or a GRO30 now that I think about it. Either way, I hope the Custom Shop starts doing some new stuff besides similar 50-watters.

I think the best orange ever would be this:
Dirty channel of the R30, paired with a channel that soakes up pedals like bassman or a jtm45.
You'd be suprised how much love that amp would get. There's not need for a FX loop if you have a clean channel that takes em all.
You could stick all your fav. pedals in front of that amp while still having the option to switch over to the dirty channel
for superb amp distortion. What do you think
accept darkness.

i think the best orange amp would be a single channel 50w 2x12 combo that is JUST the natural channel of the rocker 30

i freakin' love that idea. orange needs a clean amp in their line, in my opinion. maybe since it would only be one knob, they could throw in some reverb and tremolo to boot.

Will the Rocker 30 sound like an ENGL with the right distortion pedal? If not, it is a piece of shite.
