Got my tele remade... PICTURES

Post by mikel » Mon May 16, 2011 5:04 pm

My Fender Baja Telecaster got a new look. Made by the swedish artist Jesper Eriksson. It´s handcarved and painted. Enjoy!

The whole body have this fantastic embellishment, but this one´s my favorite:

I love it! I don't think i'd put that on my tele, but it looks amazing. (kinda like the snakeskin rocker 30 thread from a few months back)

Congrats!

That is amazing. I like the little guy poking out from under the bigsby; it sorta looks like he's in jail or something!

Congrats!

Maybe that's why I like it...

Awesome! I love it!! Although, I'd change the guard. The black just kind of distracts from the whole thing, IMO.

That's crazy! I agree about the black pickguard though. I might suggest getting a clear pickguard and having the underside reverse-painted or something. A chrome pickguard might even work as crazy as it sounds.

I haven´t thought about the pickguard before. I will think about it. Thanks for the comments.

Thanks man. But can you post a picture of a guitar thats "industrial-bag-lady-post-apocalypse-ain't-got-shiit look"? I have no idea of what that is, so I´m getting curious.

Very cool, reminds me of ancient cave drawings.
I like it more on your guitar than mine, its a little too out there for my taste but he's done a great job. Certainly unique. :)

Nice- that's a beautiful painting! Very very cool... I like it!

Is it clear-coated so there's no danger of wear?

It´s not clearcoated but the paint seems to be very safe for wear. I´ve thrown the guitar on stage and it got beer over it and been cleaned and it seems like the paint is more sturdy than the original coating. So the paint will last.

Very cool. What is about the plain/vanilla tele that cries for embellishment?

Nice Bigsby.
