Well, pending payment, the Rocker 30 has been sold.
I paid $1,400 for it new and over a year later I am getting $1000 for it. Not a bad rental cost for 13 months of use

I thought about storing them for a year and see how it goes but I know that if I did that I would end up just keeping them in storage forever. I just hope that I'm right about the RV being the one to keep. It was the amp that made me fall in love with Orange in the first place so I'm pretty sure I made the right choice.

I'm one to talk, but in the end it's just stuff. I say off with it, if it is what you want. Yeah, you may later wish you hadn't sold em', but you have to live in the present, so if you want to sell em' now, then do it. Just don't sell them hastily and get below market amount for them. You can always buy back gear later if you wish, provided it is not super super rare.
Sincerely,

Bought and sold some amps and own 4 nice ones atm (AD30, AD5, DeluxeR, Boogie MkIIa). I play different amps in different bands and projects (and the AD5 at home). For me they have to be different enough to keep them. Also I LOVE to biamp.

sort of random, but i was just thinking the other day of a possible future rig. 2 AD30s in stereo. on amp A, channel 1 would be cleans, channel 2 would be dirt, and on amp B it would be the other way around. then i'd get a footswitch with two outputs and set the switches on the amps oppositely so i could switch between dirty and clean simultaneously. that would be a SICK setup.

I'm there!

I think having some sort of backup is important. Valve amps can be pretty reliable but there are no 100% guarantees. You've just sold the R.30? Keeping that would have been my suggestion of course! (Oh well, hopefully never mind...)
