OR120/OTR120/AD5 on UK eBay

Post by jackincaves » Thu Apr 07, 2011 11:15 am

AD5 starting at £100 with BIN £175
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Orange-AD-5-Guita ... 500wt_1156" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

OTR120 with no bids at £650, BIN £750
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Orange-OTR120-120 ... 500wt_1156" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

OR120 inc. flight case BIN £775
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Orange-or120-amp- ... 548wt_1141" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If I had the money I'd be all over these! But seeing as I don't and they don't come up too often I thought I'd post them here as someone's bound to be interested.

Daaang! If I had the money as well!

I'm sure this is probably a topic already, but what is the big difference between an OTR120 and an OD120?

Oh my!!!!!

I'd love either of the OR/ORT120 - both look really clean.

Am I mistaken or is this ORT a genuine bargain????

Somebody should get that AD5 - fantastic little amp. Anybody lives local to winchester? I see a great bargain coming, with pick up only!!!
That OR120 too, local pick up only.... Oooooooohhhh *drools and thinks how much money he'd like to have to spend....*

I'm coming to England in June, if this is still around then (doubt it!) maybe I'll be able to convince the wife to allow me a "small" souvenir! :D

That OR120 is a 90s RI so not that great of a deal. Overall though, good stuff! I wish I was in the UK bc I've got a tax return to burn. ;)

Both are 90's reissues...

When I think of what the dollar value of these would be and then the exchange rate currently (£1.00 = $1.62) I think these are priced right about where they belong. Although it usually seems that UK prices are often right around the same numeric amount as the US despite the price difference between the pound and the dollar....

The AD5 is really impressive. I scored one last wkend and still can't believe my luck!

This little f*cker had balls aplenty, lovely edge of break tones, amazing rock crunch.

The speaker doesn't get the creamy solo overdrive i can get from my V30 PPC212 though - it's there, but the speaker can't get it.

I would highly recommend it. Better tham vox AC4 or marshall class 5 IMO. Just not a very clean amp, breaks up past 1 on volume dial. Just lovely though!
