What a tool for making his GF deal with all his guitar amp stuff.
Re: Hilarious Amp Repair whoa's
Takes years to build a good reputation and only seconds to destroy it. What a clown. I expect he also gets his girlfriend to call work and tell them he wont be coming in today because his eyes hurt from too much xbox.

I would sue ripoffreport.com for accessory to libel.

What a creep! Files a bogus report after he never even talked to the guy. He should be sued for slander.
Re: Hilarious Amp Repair whoa's
i just wanna see this guy build a deck with a powered screw driver. serves him right for buying digital crap there's no way you would be worried about "losing your sounds" with a good old tube amp.

Re: Hilarious Amp Repair whoa's
The other question is whether a Line 6 would be worth fixing.

i like the idea of suing ripoffreport. if this guy really did lose 75% of his business because of this, all parties involved should be in the slammer. even though they provide some sort of means to fight back, it obviously hasn't worked, and there's no proof besides this idiot's story.

ok, i feel for the shop owner, i really do...
but you're telling me he's lost 75% of his business from a posting on ONE website? that's either a huge exaggeration or dude is doing something else with his business to drive customers away.
on the real, though. ampless dude is a tool. my 'hi tech amplifire' got broked. oh noes. dude needs to go back to the 2nd grade and learn how to speak correctly (or write, in this case) before he worries about playing his guitar.

Imagine this scenario, if you will: Mr. Unhappy Customer gets the opportunity of a lifetime and gets to meet Jimmy Page backstage before a show. JP shows him his amps and he replies, "but where do you store all your sounds?" .
I think he needs to trade in his Line 6 for a new girlfriend.

Honestly my thoughts on the whole report while reading were that it was one huge troll, but who knows, the kid could be that slow-headed. I'm with Chinese though, I wouldn't think someone would lose 75% of their business over one bad internet report, especially if it were worded exactly like the kid had it. In my opinion, it would stand better if it were written more intelligently. Judging from the business' reply, I think the owner may be a bit of a douche-nozzle anyway. Some of the things he puts in the reply are fairly unprofessional. It's hard for me to take a business serious when they make jokes like the wanna screw bit he put.

Wow, yeah, I think it's silliness involved on all accounts.
The guy fixing amps needs to market or do something to get his name out there a bit more. To be honest, that's one of the reasons why I didn't look into fixing amps locally for people is because there's got to be a TON of business to really make ends meet, otherwise you're just working part time.
The guy posting, well, obviously he's got issues. I think his girlfriend needs to trade him in, she's just trying to be helpful (if not actually accomplishing it all that much).
Oh silly people on teh interwebz.
