Im thinking about putting some sort of custom "tort" guards on my Carvins. I can't really picture what a custom pickguard would look like on them. Any photoshoppers out there? Anyone have an idea that would get my brain on the right pickguard track?

Have you considered adding some pickup covers? That might give it enough visual interest to make a pickguard unnecessary. You'd probably have to get closed ones because of all those pole pieces!
If you do go for a pickguard, you might look to the 1950's Les Paul Special pickguard design for inspiration since it has a similar configuration.

I am with Randy on this one. I don't think I would put a pickguard on your guitars as they look very nice without one. The addition of covers for the pickups may just give you the visual change you are looking for.
