Now you just need to get an orange for those p90s haha!
Haha, don't I know it. I think next time my Orange will be at least a 2x12" setup, I need more umph from my Orange tone.

Totally, and that's one of the main reasons why I fell in love with this guitar! I think it looks like the original LPs from the 50s. I'm not even sure if that's always honestly period correct, but I feel like this unfigured grain pattern is more true to what I want in an LP: not a lot of flash, but enough natural beauty you still want to pick it up and play.

So. Excited. :)

Not to spoil the thread but i've seen some horrible pics of the tribute series, really bad finnish and qc.
That said it's a great concept and i'm sure there are beauty's amongst them.

Not spoiling it at all! I totally hear ya, there's some very iffy reviews of these guitars. That's another reason why I'm buying from this Wild Wood Guitars place, they take pictures of the actual guitar you are buying, and they have a luthier set it up before it leaves the shop. I'm excited about buying it sight unseen because they've tried it out and sent me pictures. I'm excited. I'm not naive, if it stinks it stinks and I'll send it back. But I'm thinking it won't. :)

I might take off the guard, I'm not sure. Didn't think about it. It looks a little too new for me though...

Keep the 'guard! imo it gives it a really cool, different vibe as most people take the guards off.

Oh I'll do something alright, I'm exited to put it through its paces. I've got a couple of chord progressions I've been playing around with on the guitar tonight... I feel like I'm comin out of the long night of my creativity funk.

I know a really decent guy selling a lp bfg for a great price  with similar spec to the studio except a bridge pickup with more bite and power. Extra money left over to finish in any style you want too
