looks like they tried to copy a ric. i've heard good things about agile, but like all budget guitar brands, i would definitely try before you buy. it might take 10 or so of the same model before you find one that sings and plays the way you want it to.

Re: GAS ATTACK!: Agile Harm 1 2TS Sunburst P90
People always say they are nice on internet forums, but I sometimes wonder if it's people who just really want to believe they are amazing guitars for the money, or maybe have no frame of reference other than their Squier that they bought off their brother's friend's cousin a couple years ago for $50. They have so many different models, I just don't see how the asian dudes in the factory have mastered the skills to make every one of those guitars to exacting standards.
If you buy one, you are a braver man than I. I've contemplated it more than once.

Yeah, I don't buy the hype.
Re: GAS ATTACK!: Agile Harm 1 2TS Sunburst P90
I had an Agile a while ago, a LP DC copy, and it was pretty great, especially considering the price. I'm currently gassing for their LP Jr, and I plan to buy one within the week.

Re: GAS ATTACK!: Agile Harm 1 2TS Sunburst P90
After a friend of mine brought an Agile Baritone home to the UK after a US tour (it was much better than his Mike Mushok), I started checking out their stuff. In the end I went for 3100 Double Bound in Black, solid mahogany body and top. http://www.rondomusic.com/al3100boundblkgoldhw.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It was still cheap, even after I shipped it to the UK - so thy're peanuts for you guys in the States.
It's now had a good setup and really is a good guitar. I much prefer it to the Epi Les Paul Standard it's replacing.
I wanted Les Paul Custom Mojo on the cheap. Burny's and Orville's etc. may get you closer, but they're still double the money - and since it's only gonna get covered in blood n' sweat at gigs I think it's great. Nicely finished, good hardware (could possibly have a better bridge), good switch/pots/wiring, and lovely tuners. The pickups are a bit soul-less, but I'm planning on changing them soon.
Saying that, I hear their p90's are pretty good - and that Harm does look rad. I dig the headstocks too - they're a bit Hagstrom.

Well, I sold it a few years back due to financial hardships. It could have stood to have a pickup change, but the action and feeling was great, very slinky LP feel to it, great binding work. It was lower grade, so the flame maple on the top wasn't as book matched as I'd like, the next time I get an Agile LP, it'll be one of their $600 jobs.Deacon Blues wrote:hey Neil, please post a review of it when you get it if you have the time. that's another model i'm interested in too
Really great stuff, lasted me a long time and I got plenty of milage out of it.
Let me see if I can find a picture...(found it, it's the orangy-flame guitar that says...Agile...duh )

Guaranteed if you buy that you'll have a Gibson within the next few months. That's what happened to me when I got the Epiphone Special.jason41224 wrote:http://www.rondomusic.com/ad2300jr.html

Trouble for me is that Gibson stuff it way out of my budget right now. I've had Agile before, it's not bad for the money. I'd buy an agile sight-unseen, and wouldn't even think of getting a Gibby without playing it in person, if that means anything.

that's a terrible deal. it says $269, and i'd end up paying roughly over $1K! false advertising, i'd say.baytamusic wrote:Guaranteed if you buy that you'll have a Gibson within the next few months. Totally agree with you on this... I think for the money you'll find more diamonds in the rough whith an Agile then with Gibson.Neiloler wrote:Trouble for me is that Gibson stuff it way out of my budget right now.
