Can the person that runs the orange site please kill that Madonna picture? She can't play guitar and she can't really be of any endorsement value. I would think the opposite is true and that some might shy away from an amp that madonna or anyone in her "band" endorses.
As far as I can tell "tone" has never been something Madonna was searching for.

I hate seeing that damn picture when I login.

Yeah what's wrong with Orange couldn't they at least have gotten with the times and put Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers on their site for advertising....

I did not mean to start another "stupid" thread. If Orange thinks Madonna is doing them some good fine by me. I can tell you that they are mistaken and must live in a very small room. I mean, maybe my room is small but I know musicians from just about everywhere and I'd be willing to bet a dollar that if I asked them to name someone they associate with Orange Amps it would not be Madonna and if I asked a just about anyone who has interest in buying an amp, "hey you wanna buy the kind of amp Madonna endorses?" I'm pretty sure the answer would be "No thanks". Lastly I have never seen a Madonna concert so I dont really know if she plays guitar.

Do you buy something just because someone else uses it? Isn't that just following suit? What's the difference if you don't buy something just because someone else uses it? Sounds pretty mindless to me. Like people fist pumping after they started watching Jersey Shore. Be original, do what works for you, and give the hair gel a rest, that's what I say.

If you'll pay a bit more attention, you'll notice that it is actually Monte Pittman who is the endorser of Orange amps. He got instant cred as he was selected by Madonna to be on her tour.

Anything Madonna touches turns to Gold or Platinum, so it's not a bad reference really. It may not be everyone's ideal of rock-n-roll, but hey if Madonna calls you on the phone, you pick-up!...
