They basically have the platform with the OR50 (okay, I know it's different), but proves they can build an amp with that tone using modern components. Do it NOW!

Hey, they've gotta save something for the 50th anniversary...

a Super 30TC...ad30 as in current form, but with reverb, fx loop, and possibly an attenuator.
that would really murder anything else orange has ever put out.

Nah, either of my Oranges could take a Super 30 TC - no sweat! :P

Joking apart really nice reverb and a decent FX loop would do no harm at all. A decent master volume (like they already have) makes an attenuator a bit pointless though - to my mind anyhow.

With a really good MV that would be killer.

It is strange how Orange really are one of the very few companies not to do a current decent reissue of their original amps. Though I do have my own theory why not.

The Blunderverb 500 is one of the most appealing things I have ever seen. Not sure if it would be exactly portable, but who cares. Every decent venue should have at least one installed. That would just about define 'decent venue' for me...

I'd love it if Orange made a true stereo path combo tube amp, where the left channel outputs from the left speaker, right from right. It's a bit surprising how few of those there are out there to choose from.

- 50-watt (or higher), EL34 2x12 combo tube amp
- dual/stereo amp inputs
- stereo FX loop (send and return)
- headphone/line out, allowing the load to be taken off the speakers
- attenuation control
- master/gain/bass/mid/treble/reverb controls

Also, the large black and orange graphic panels look really good on the OR50 Anniversary head, it'd be nice to see those visuals on other amp model faceplates.

I think this market is too obscure to make an amp solely for it. Why not just get two amps and run through a stereo cab? Then you wouldn't alienate those who want to run it as a normal amp.

You're probably right. Nevertheless, it seems like it could be a nice gigging and studio/home recording amp that's portable, while still being a more compact and cheaper package than 2 seperate amps. Roland's JC-120 is a good example, albeit solid-state, and obviously not an Orange. :D

Also, the stereo feature wouldn't need to alienate normal usage. You could, for example, simply plug into a single input to use it in mono over both speakers.

An Custom Shop OR20 combo would be cool! Like the Tiny Terror combo, only way cooler amp!

A handwired AD15 "reissue" would fill that role quite nicely.

two channel amp. ad30 single channel+40 or 50w nat channel(like the r30) I agree w/teddy. I love the nat channel but it doesn't keep up w/ the dirty. ah nevermind, the natural channel is perfect for the bedroom and the dirty is good for live..... still wish I had an ad30 though... single or double. effects loop would be nice. reverb would be nice. maybe I should buy an ad50... better yet a single channel n50 w/ one knob. a natural channel 50w. haha! sell it for like 500bucks

That would actually be a really good idea if the price was right and it had an effects loop. Give it a giant knob like those found on safes. Maybe 30 watts instead of 50 though. An Orange all-valve pedal platform - madness :D !

wouldn't that be essentially like a low wattage Matamp slave unit of old?

for all those OR120 RI guys: matamp retro is the ticket.

i'd like to have an orange with:

50 watts
fx loop with series/parallel switch
great reverb
first channel clean - but with a lot more presence and more fendery, warm but still enough sparkle 3 band eq
second channel typical orange rockerverb style or tiny terror like. 3 band eq
master volume
presence
it should take any pedal you throw at it
6L6/6V6 output tubes
mercury trannies
handwired
built in attenuator
huge dynamic range
touch responsive.

i would buy it :D
accept darkness.
