Just bought a Tiny Terror combo, am thinking of getting a PPC112 cab to whack under it, and have 2x12" speakers happening. Does any one have this set up? How do they get on?

I know the speakers are different.. Combo sounds amazing, would just like a little more oomph : )

From measurements online the PPC112 is a bit wider than the combo, anyone have a pic of the two together?

Ta!

So I just bought the PPC112 to go under the TT Combo. The internal Vintage 30 was originally plugged into the 16ohm output of the TT, I have now got the internal speaker plugged into one of the 8ohm outputs, and the 16ohm PPC112 plugged into the other 8ohm output.

Sounds great, but if someone can confirm that I've connected things properly that would be great? I'm about 85% sure I have it right...

Thanks!

I run a hughes and kettner combo with the ppc 1x12 in a mini stack and to my ears it sounds amazing. I am pretty sure you got your speakers hooked up properly :) as you would use the 16ohm if just running one speaker and the two 8ohms if running two speakers, provided they are both 16 ohm speakers.

Impedance set up is correct.

Even if TT and PPC112 were the same size, it doesn't mean they would be a great match. Spot the four differences between my Rocker 30 Combo atop the PPC112.

Yeah the impedances are right. Thought the TT combo came with a G12H30 though, and the PPC112 a V.30. (Just going by the Orange site on that so prepared to be wrong about the combo! Or maybe some were also shipped with V.30s?)

Those two speakers generally compliment each other well though. The H30 has a fuller bottom end (V.30 is tighter in the bass) and helps cover up the V.30s sometimes nasal upper mids peak with its own nice complex midrange.

I wouldn't worry about slight visual differences. Most people out there don't obsess the same as we can.

Hi there! Anyone got a photo of TT combo atop PPC112? It kinda bugs me that the cab is bit wider.
Anyway, I have the combo which I love but I'm thinking of also getting either PPC112 or PPC212V. Now, with 112 I'm getting the picture what would I get, a bit of bassier sound I guess. But, has anyone tried 212 vertical? I think the combo would probably look amazing on top of it and the height would be just right, but what about open back and those Neo Creamback speakers? And it is a bit pricey, I could almost get three 112s for the price of one 212V.
