Heya Crew
I am setting up my tone with a Metal muff running through the fat channel on my DT.
I like a little buzz and lots of feedback, but this thing is out of control at high gain settings ! I am currently using the selector switch (generic orange single switch) to cut to the TT channel at zero volume, to silence the amp as we play lots of "stop-go" pauses for vocal fills and single guitar lead breaks, but this of course means I onky use the Fat Channel as the TT channel is in silent mode..
Wondering if anyone else plays a high gain pedal through the DT along with a Hush pedal or Boss , or whether they have tweaked things...I would love to hear any opinions on the stomp-box style noise reducers out there, or better still- someone who plays a Metal Muff through a TT or DT who has managed to tame the beast- I play a fairly boosted tone bordering on metal tone, although musically our style isnt metal- just a big fat lightsaber metal tone,
Any suggestions without going to elitist on me.
Of course I love my orange for the buzz and the breakup- but I am getting a lot of low end hum- it is definitely the pedal doing the damage as it is silent when I pull the jack out...
cheers fellas
